Better late than never! Here’s a quick wrap-up of Nationals 2025 and how NSW armwrestlers fared against some seriously strong competition from across the country. Kicking things off, Neti Lata from Savage Hitters was simply too strong, taking out both left and right arms in the Women’s Over 65kg class, securing her spot at Worlds 2026 in India. While not NSW, ACT punched well above its weight, finishing ahead of both VIC and WA on the medal count. Standout performances included Adam Falzarano, who cleaned up the 70kg Right Arm, Dominic Lorenz claiming Masters 90kg+ Left Arm, and an outstanding effort from Christian Bozinivski, who took the 100kg+ Left Arm against the heavily favoured Bowen Contardo. Sydney Spartans once again enjoyed a strong showing. -Harry Lu dominated the super match scene, winning the 70kg Left Arm. -Adam “911” Laura added yet another national title, taking the 100kg+ Right Arm. -Chrix Hex backed up his 2nd place at OTT2 by stepping into the Masters division and sweeping the 90kg Left Arm class. -Mirza Semic also impressed in the Masters, winning the 90kg+ Right Arm. -Chrissy Shreeve stamped her dominance once again, claiming both Left and Right Arm titles in the Under 65kg class, adding two more trophies to an already stacked cabinet. Some other noteworthy performances included Jacob Tuxworth (QLD), who took out three Right Arm classes, Moses Mundell (NUAC) earning 3rd place in the 80kg class, including a win over Tuxworth, and a special mention to Phil Rasmussen, for taking the 90kg Right Arm with a smart, tactical win over Aidan Bestick. A massive thank you to all the competitors who made Nationals 2025 such a great event, and to the volunteers who helped make it all happen. 💪 If I missed anyone, I am sorry, I need to detox from Armwrestling after 2025 !
